Chơi Starcraft trên smartphone N900

Bạn chán chơi Starcraft bằng hệ thông thường? PC? Mac? Zehjotkah-một tay chơi người điện thoại người Đức đã upload một clip mô tả việc chơi Starcraft trên N900 trên mạng chia sẻ video Youtube gần đây.

Chắc hẳn ít nhiều người Việt Nam còn vẫn còn ấn tượng với N900 được Nokia tung ra thị trường vào cuối tháng 8 năm 2009 vừa qua. Như các loại smartphone thông thường khác, N900 có đầy đủ chức năng cơ bản của một smartphone, thậm chí còn tích hợp bộ vi xử lí của Iphone 3GS và trang bị giao diện của N97.

Sở hữu màn hình cảm ứng rộng 3,5 inch, độ phân giải WVGA 800 x 480 pixel, khi trượt để lộ bàn phím QWERTY, bộ nhớ 32Gb và RAM 256 Mb, ấn tượng hơn N900 còn có thể chơi được Starcraft và Warcraft 2 thông qua một bản mod tên là Stargus.

Stargus là một bản mod của Starcraft do fan làm, cho phép người chơi chuyển đổi game Starcraft Original của PC sang smartphone dựa trên nền engine Stratagus. Stargus-mod không phải là một sản phẩm của Blizzard mà nó đơn giản là một thành quả của người hâm mộ dành cho Starcraft

Sau đây là hướng dẫn cài đặt Stargus-mod viết bởi Zehjotkah:

To install this you need to have rootsh installed. If you don’t have it yet please install it through the Program Manager (with maemo extras enabled). Also you need to have a memory card inserted in the N900.
First you need to get the files from the original Starcraft CD with Stargus:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/stargus/
Download Stargus
Put your Starcraft CD in.
Install Stargus and when you’re asked for select the CD-Rom drive.
When finished exit Stargus and go to the directory, where Stargus was installed (C:\\Program Files\Stargus)
Copy the CONTENT of the Data directory to your memory card to memorycard:\\games\stratagus\
Next you have to download this file: zehjotkah.ddl.at/stratagus-0.1-4_armel.deb
Copy this file to the root directory of your memory card.
Open X-Terminal on the N900 and type in the following:

root
cd /media/mmc1/
dpkg -i stratagus-0.1-4_armel.deb

Now it gets installed and you’re ready!
When you see this code while installing Stratagus:

/ var/lib/dpkg/info/stratagus.postinst: line 7: maemo-select-menu-location: not found

It doesn’t mean anything serious. That was the category selection menu in maemo 2008 (diablo). In maemo 5 we don’t have this selection menu but it doesn’t matter, the game installed fine.
If you already have Warcraft 2 installed, you first have to rename your Warcraft 2 games directory on your memory card.
